Happy Halloween from Creative Spark Guitar Instruction! Who doesn’t love a holiday built around candy and dressing up—which is also very rock and roll.
To celebrate, here are the masters of “Halloween rock”, Oingo Boingo, with “Dead Man’s Party”. The riff in this song was one of the first things I tried to learn on the guitar.
You might recognize the lead singer as Danny Elfman, film composer for nearly all of Tim Burton’s movies, and voice of Jack Skellington in “Nightmare Before Christmas”.
